About Malabar College

Malabar College of Advanced Studies (MCAS), a resourceful destination for higher studies in Malabar, came into existence in 2013 under Malabar Educational and Charitable Trust. The college at present is situated at Parakkanni, Vengara 12 km away from the district head quarters, Malappuram and 15 km away from the University of Calicut.The location is enriched with healthy climate surrounded by serene and attractive hills and mountains. About Department

Department of Computer Science offers three year professional UG programme(BCA).The department commenced its operation in 2013 ,right from the inception of the college.Department of computer science offers programmes to incline the undergraduates to be competitive in the IT Economy.The department enables the learners to think critically in the course of digital technology. The quality education, imparted through various contests.

The department of computer science is one of the prestigious departments of the college. The department started offering under graduate program (BCA) along with the inception the college in 2013. The curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities undertaken by the department are commendable and helpful to the all round development of staff and students of the department. The department produced excellent results in all its ventures. Many of our students got placement in various reputed MNCs and other firms and completed post graduation programs from various institutions with the support and guidance of the teachers in the department. Now the department has launched a website useful for the students and staff providing all types of information related to academics and examinations. I wish all success to this endeavor and other activities of the department.
